Just wanted to share this news which i considered heart wrenching but yet heart warming.. Its considered as a rather late news since this news was realeased like last week?? But still, my same old saying : “Better late than never”.. hahaz..
okie, so here’s the news :
Park Jihun of V.O.S is actually attached and even has a 4 year old son, with a 2nd child on the way..
“My wife and I were both born and raised in Daejun. She attended the school next to mine, ShinIl Girls’ High School, and through a friend we became penpals during our 3rd year of high school. That’s when I felt the feeling of having a first love.
“I soon became an adult and I started underground music and my wife was there to support me. But when I turned 22 I realized the limitations of an underground band and entered the military and had no choice but to leave my wife.
“When I returned, under the praises of our parents for our relationship, I had a dream to become a singer. My wife never failed to support me during hard times but when I was to debut as an artist, it became known that we couldn’t get married.
“It was a huge pain that I couldn’t reveal my son’s existence. It made it hard that my family’s freedom was on the line because of my and my career as an artist.
“When I got the news that I will be having a second child and the near delivery, I made the decision to make my family become known to the world.
“I really wish my second child would be able to be blessed and I am very thankful to the many fans who understand my position and my whole family is feeling thankful as well.”
What I find heart wrenching about this news is that, he’s attached and yet has a 4 year old son, and yet, he’s unable to tell the world about this, keeping this (what i consider as good news/joy) from people.. How sad is it being unable to let people know that he has a son, unable to spend time with his son, e.g taking his son out, having fun with him..
But its so heart warming to find that he has a “great wife” who’s willing to stand by him all the while, even if it means not being able to make known that she’s the one beside him.. I doubt many can stand the feeling of her other half telling the entire country that he’s single and available while in actual fact, she’s the other half..
I’m glad that she can now offically be known as “Jihun’s other half”.. And they’re gonna get married soon, and another baby is on the way.. But this time, it’s gonna be different.. They’re gonna have the blessings from all the fans..

I’m just bedazzled as to why his company didnt allow him to share this piece of news, and making him keep it as a secret for the past few years.. I guess they were just afraid that it might affect his popularity?? But I dun see what’s the difference of keeping it as a secret and letting it out in the future?? Won’t they be afriad that the result will turn out to be the same?? But luckily, it has proven otherwise..And from this, we definitely can know that he has found a great family..
Recently, V.O.S left their former company citing contract problems ; having different views in music.. But i bet that it also has something to do with this case.. I’m just glad that V.O.S has managed to find a new company that’s willing to accept them for what they are.. Sadly to say though, their former company doesnt allow them to continue using the name “V.O.S”they’re just jealous… But nevertheless, I don’t think whether they get a new name, or if they continue V.O.S would affect their popularity.. Even if they change a new name, their fans would still definitely support them as usual.. It isnt the name that matters, its the music that they make!!~~
p.s this new reminds me of RenFu and JiQin.. They also had to keep the news of having a baby until prior to the date when the baby was expected to be born.. I’m just soo glad that all of them managed to find such great “other halfs”
