Chingay 2009

Went to watch Chingay 2009’s Preview.. This year’s theme was wonderland.. i would say that this year’s Chingay would be a much better one than last year.. It was much colourful and lots of fun this year.. perhaps last year, they spent too much of their budget on getting the F1 cars.. wahaha.. the only 1 thing that i didnt like about this year’s Chingay was these whole bunch of people walking up and down the aisle.. and they had to choose a time where there were exciting performances that we wanted to take a picture of.. one funny thing was, there was ppl walking around selling food.. like, who will buy sia, we wanna enjoy the performance, and the food aint cheap.. hot dog bun gg fer $3.50.. OMG!!

last year, there was F1 car, this year, there’s a horse.. YES, its a real horse.. and its sooo pretty, just like that Unicorn horse in those fairytale stories.. it has white hair and white tail.. but its such a pity, i only got to take a picture of its beautiful back.. sad-ed…
and there was also a part of the performance where the “lions” came into the audience.. and one was just standing right next to me.. its soo much fun, but its “white fur” was flying around. lolx..

towards the end of Chingay, there was this “mini” magic show.. or should I say its all an illusion.. the illusionist was Lawrence Khong & Priscilla Khong… At the end, he supposingly set himself on fire for 1 minute, and appearing at the top of the building.. its like so whoa, but its all an illusion ba..

Natas Fair 2008

went to Natas Fair yest (SAT) to look at the tour packages.. well, it didnt turn out to be as packed as i thought it would be… but it was still packed.. and the Fair is really really really very big.. we spent almost 6 to 7 hours there..
Around 5 + , Uncle Ringo and family came to look for us, they had wanted to book holiday to Japan, but the moment they saw the price, hahaz.. its really so ex, its almost $2500 per person.. juz the airport tax alone, already nearly $600..
in the end, mummy and i booked a holiday to Korea!! WOOHOOO!!!! SHIOK!!!
at 1st was thinking taiwan, but think here think there, its like we went taiwan before, so if really wanna go, we can go on free and easy anytime.. so this time we’re gg to korea..
got many freebies for booking the tour to korea..
AND AND, i saw Lee An at Natas fair, he was there performing.. i was at the tour booth when he started performing.. while performing the 1st song, i didnt believe it would be him, so i didnt care.. but when he started to sing the 2nd song, i knew it was him.. so i escaped frm the booth and went to the stage to find out the truth.. and it was really him!!

went fer dinner at Lavendar.. had dinner at 9pm!! late late late. lolx..
had been eating there fer some time, but only tonight, i found out that a special pancake was being sold there..
after dinner, rushed home coz i wanna watch MTV Asia Awards.. hahaz..
and heng heng, i reached home exactly when they were showing the opening.. lolx..
And i’m now rushing my sequence diagrams and class diagram while watching it as my lappy will be in a hands of a “kidnapper” in a few hours time.. lolx..

As i had mentioned, and as i had promised myself, i and min min went to the Singapore Garden Festival at Suntec straight after school..
And, Whoa!! i was speechless when i entered the exhibition hall.. its as though like u have entered into another world..
with all the terrific designs done using flowers, it really made me forget that i still had project to do.. hahaz..
there were many exhibits that were awesome, and one that i loved the most is one exhibit which really looks as though its really underwater..
its really hard to describe it in words, so do wait fer the pictures, which i dun noe when it would be up, but it should be real soon..

And, while on the way to Suntec, we passed by this shop at City Link selling French cakes.. it really looked “high-class” type.. the box that was used to store the cake, was as though it was storing a toy, and the cup which holds the cake is once again, ~speechless~…had great fun today!!!

2008 Splash Awards & 五月天离开地球表面08演唱会

had a superb duperb great day yest despite the fact that i had sprained my ankle on fri, and spraining the same ankle yet again yest..
had great fun thanks to splash awards and Mayday’s concert..

helped out at the splash awards held at SMU, its something like a programming competition.
the room that i was taking belonged to the secondary sch category, and when i saw the qn, i was like ……. i’ll never be able to do it, and best still, i dun even noe hw to use .net and php to programme it..
we had to stay in the room like frm 9+ all the way to 4, doing almost nth at all.. we juz had to stay in the room in to “invigilate” them, in case they need any help.. but they were supposed to ask their doubts thru msn to the committe, and thus, all we had to do, is juz to sit there and do nth..
so, it was verrrryyyyyy boring lor… but nevertheless, i somewat found it fun. .
after helping out, me and min went to kino!!! yippee!!! bought danson’s book… cool man, sooo mani pics of him inside.. wahaha..

headed down to kallang leisure park to find makan and i decided on siew mai, coz all the queues were sooo long, and almost no seats to be found..
ate and watched this dog competition at the same time.. saw many dogs over there, and i saw quite a number of my fav, husky.. kawaii nei…

when time was slowly approaching 8pm, went over to SIS fer concert…
Mayday’s concert was great even without any fanciful costumes, sleek dance moves,special guest.. they made the concert marvelous with juz their music talents, and their vocals..
all i can say is, this concert was realli realli happening, realli realli very very “HIGH”..
i noe i said there too fer jay chou’s concert, but Mayday’s concert is far more high then jay’s..
the moment the concert, the whole stadium was on their feet, screaming, jumping… and it lasted fer the whole 3 hours, only sitting down, when Mayday went down to change their costumes…

the concert started off with 4 guys rappelling down the stadium thru the ceiling.. cooool man..
the lighting effects fer the concert was awesome..
this time round, Mayday had a 360 degree stage… with part of it being suspense in the air while it was nt being used, and at that time, it would be used as lighting.. wat a great “invention”, a 2-in-1 usage…
while Mayday went round, the crowd was even more high..
hmmmm, dunno wat to say le, coz i was toooo high during their concert, and all these cant be represented in words, only fer me to know the “feel” can le.. hahaz..

Chingay 2008 – Preview

went to watch the Chingay preview..
and yet again, many 1st happen : 1st time seeing firecrackers,
1st time seeing a F1 race car “zoom” past
1st time watching Chingay “live”
1st time seeing a HUGE Yu sheng
1st time seeing PM Lee in person

had great fun… wouldnt mind paying to watch Chingay, but sadly and luckily, i gt my tix free.. hahaz..
the performance was great.. the fireworks were great, the firecrackers were great, which nearly made me deaf.. and never forgetting, my fav fav F1 racing car.. it was awesome!!! i juz simply love the sound.. VROOM VROOM!!

5566 auto Session

after the past 2 days, i can realli say that s’pore is really veri small..
coz on sat, i went to play pool at amk, i saw jia wei, shan jun, chun leong, zhi bing, gary & barry…
then yest, i saw my bro, my da sao, her mum,my sec sch friend,rachael and jie risem at junction 8.. hahaz..

yest when to j8 to have lunch and at the same time see 5566…
saw my bro they all while on the way to lunch..
finally managed to try the hong kong cafe there..
the food quite nice ah.. nt so bad..
then at 5566 auto session, saw rachael there..and oso my sec sch friend… hahaz..
i stood at the same place,when i was there to watch k-one yest to see 5566..
wat can i say, 5566 realli looked diff… hahaz..
after they sang finish, i “run” le.. rachael still can queue up for the autograph… but she was quite fast too, less than an hour she managed to get their signature le..

after j8, went to changi airport.. coz no where to go le..
and we wanted to see the new T3, but then so so only la..
almost the same as other terminal lei…
then took the skytrain to T2 for dinner.. had fish & co fer main course and swensens fer desert.. hahaz..
while on the way to swensens, i heard something veri funny.. someone asked : “does mac sell wanton mee”.. lolx.. damm funny..
then we took the skytrain again to T1 to take the bus home..
while on the bus, the bus went back to T2 again.. hahaz..
then we were wondering why did we even take the skytrain frm T2 to T1.. lolx

Had a mighty great day today..
went to see Danson 唐禹哲 at suntec, fountain of wealth today..
1st time, at least to me, seeing an autograph session being held at the fountain of wealth…
reached there around 2 and waited fer nearly 2 hours..
luckily we reached there veri early, and managed to get a good spot.. and it was a realli realli good spot fer me to take pics..
he finally appeared at around 4.30pm.. and wootz. he so de damm handsome and cute in real person.. even xue, ting and rat also said he is so de damm handsome, which is pls, a miracle fer them to say, especially xue lor..
1 thing funny mistake made was the date on his board, which read Date: 17 Nov 2007 (SUN). hahaz..
sang 3 songs which were 最爱还是你，分开以后 and 爱我。
after 3 songs, he had his auto session which was the time where we went off,coz we are nt realli that crazy about him..
juz 纯欣赏.. hahaz..
he managed to get me to go support him is coz of his acting, his nice songs and voice.. woohoo~~
its hard to get me to go support an artist wor.. i onli went fer 5566, kone and his onli.. hahaz.. he shld be glad.. lolx.
his songs are realli realli nice, melody, and lyrics are so nice!
and my fav are 爱我 and 吻到一公里之外

went fer dinner at nydc..
nice place, nice food, nice portion…
hahaz..

after dinner, he was still signing autographs, so kelian…
its isnt good to be famous too…
went to hmv, and thats the time where my pocket always get burn..
bought 3 cds!!! 3 cds!!! alot wor..
