Halloween Horror

Went to Night Safari’s Halloween Horror last night.. Went there with Mummy, “new experience”?? It has been a long time since both of us went to the Night Safari together.. Kinda had some fun but Halloween Horror this year was way way below my expectations.. The queue at the Night Safari was simply madness!!~~ The queue to buy the tickets was way beyond you can imagine.. Luckily for me, I had complimentary tickets, so i didn’t have to queue.. Phew… But there were even longer queues inside..

Decided to watch the Creatures of the Night show first as we saw a long queue at the Tram of Terror.. There was something that kinda irks me.. While we were queueing, this group of guys come from right behind and queue somewhat in the front.. And a tourist who was queueing asked them: “Shouldnt you join the queue?” and a guy had the cheek to reply that “Oh, i’m a staff here, and there isnt really a queue here.. It’s somewhat “open”.. ” OMFG, he actually said that to a tourist!!~~ Yes, I know there isnt really a queue, but cant he like explain it in a better way since he’s a staff there!!~

Anyway, the Creature of the Night show was awesome.. i think there were some changes to the show.. Or was my bad memory failing me.. But one thing’s for sure, the opening was definitely different, perhaps it was because of Halloween, I dun noe.. The hosts and “crew” there were simply jokers!!~~ Well, at least for the show.. Animals were so cute!!!~ Especially the fox or was it wolf.. Either one, cant really differentiate it.. lolx..

After the show ended, we went to take the tram of terror, and the queue was even worst than it was earlier on.. Again, queue system wasnt that good.. While queueing, a lady behind me got “stop halfway” as the queue was seperated by the road.. And while she was waiting for her turn to rejoin the queue across the road, this group of people just came in and join the queue, and the staff just didnt care.. Another OMG, how could they, there were even more people who were waiting in the “correct queue” and the staff just let this “illegal queue-ers” just join the queue..

Train of terror wasnt that good.. Was boring!!!~ Super boring!!~ The “ghosts” werent scary nor “interactive” as last year’s.. Not to mention the horror trail, it was even more boring.. This year, the horror trail was just one single track.. You have no choice but to follow the trail.. And if you happen to get a big group of people infront of you who are just too scared to carry on with the trail, and taking ONE STEP at a time and not moving at all, you’re definitely gonna regret going on this trail.. I really regretted, even when I felt like turning back and going out of the trail, I couldnt as there was even a longer queue behind me waiting for those people infront to START walking!!!~~ Go forward also cannot, go backward also cannot.. WTH!!~

Since it’s a horror trail, isnt it suppose to be scary?? But how can it possibly be scary when there are less than 10 “creatures” lurking around??!!! Ok, enough said.. I didnt really like this year’s Halloween Horror.. But luckily and thankfully, my tickets were complimentary.. If I had to pay for them, I would definitely regretted it big time!!~

*Pictures and videos will up soon.. Hopefully, tomorrow.. 🙂

Night Safari’s Halloween Horror

juz gotten back from the Night Safari..
visited Night Safari for its Halloween Horror..
it has been ages since i last visited Night Safari.. think it has been 10 years since i last visited it.. had dinner at this place called bongo or something that sounds like “Punggol”.. lolx..
waited till 7 for a performance that was juz next to the Bongo..
it was something like a tribe performance where they “played with fire” and so on..And, we finally proceeded on our Halloween trail..we started our Halloween trail by taking the tram of horror first..
erm, basically, it wasnt scary at all, coz we were seated right at the back.. and the moment we hear the ppl seating in front of us screaming their hearts out, we were all totally prepared..
But, when this “ghosts” suddenly comes up the tram, and stands right in front of you, its a totally different thing, its still scary even when u are “prepared”.. Continue reading
