Went for NDP Preview yesterday.. This year was the very first year we tried to ballot for the tickets, and I guess we were very lucky to get the tickets. 🙂 The time taken to go to/leave the Floating Bay was fast, I guess they were very efficient and organised, not much “human jams”.. The show this year was wonderful, full of energy, very lively and the show was full of surprises, you’ll never know what’s gonna happen next.. hmmm, do I feel this way because I was there “live”?? hahaz.. But nevertheless, its up to you all to decide when you see the Parade next week.. The 21-Gun Presidentail Salute this year was on the waters.. Its just so cool, i think its the 1st time, we could actually see it happening..
The funniest part was when the “Cabinet Ministers”, “MPs”, “PM” arrived.. When they appeared, everyone was shocked and laughing, coz their stand-ins all looked like school children, and it was just so cute seeing them walking down, waving and so on.. hahaz..There was one Chapter in the show where they show the dreams of the children, and one boy was extremely cute, he said he wanted to be a PSP helper?? What that means, you ask.. It means to help people play PSP games.. He’s just so cute..
But, I didnt really like the fireworks this year. It wasnt really that nice as compared to Crackers .. I only liked the last fireworks, it looks just like Gold linings in the sky.. Anyway, HAPPY 44th BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE, in advance.
The journey home after the parade was seriously nightmare.. After having a late dinner after the parade, decided to take 857 home.. Waited for like almost an hour, and it still didnt turn up.. In the end, gave up waiting, and decided to take 162M to YCK before changing to MRT… *tired*
