Gardens By The Bay

It has been almost a year since Gardens By The Bay was officially opened to the public. And it wasn’t until recently that I realized, it was more than just a huge park. It had several attractions and conservatories within the park. All along, I thought it was just a HUGE park where you should be prepared to get lost. Well, at least that was the impression it gave me when i first visited the park for the STAR concert in July.

Visited two of the conservatories, which were named “The Cloud” and “Flower Dome”. Both of these required a fee of SGD$20 to enter, but thankfully the didn’t forget about Singaporeans, they had a promotion for Singaporeans when I went, not sure if the promotion is a permanent arrangement or just for a special period.

Sentosa!!~

Instead of the usual town outings, we decided to visit Sentosa today..

Singapore's very own legend, The Merlion.

Singapore’s kinda small, so there isn’t really much places to visit, especially after living here for almost 23 years… 😡 But thankfully, new attractions keep popping up every now and then, to keep Singapore alive.. Most importantly, it’s the company that I have… I guess as long as we have the right company, even the most boring place would still be full of energy…

It’s finally time for us to leave Tangalooma Island and head back to the “mainland” – Gold Coast.

First destination for our Gold Coast holiday is Warner Brothers Movie World, which I consider it to be my heaven with my Tweety Bird!!~ I was just so excited to be in Movie World!!~

Gold Coast 2011-Day 2 之 Feed the dolphins

Alrighty… Since I have some spare time on my hands now, I shall continue updating about my long-long-ago-Gold Coast Trip.. I’m even wondering how long would I take to complete the posts on the holidays.. 😡 Hopefully I would still be able to remember the details of the trip..

I’m still currently on Day 2 (18 August 2011) of my trip.. As we would be staying in Tangalooma Island for just 1 night, we had our day filled with activities.. The last activity for us was a dolphin feeding session..

Around 5.30pm, we had to wait out near the ferry terminal for the main star of the feeding session – the dolphins themselves. These dolphins aren’t owned or reared by the resort, they are the dolphins from the wild, and they even have names which I never got to find out what they were.

Gold Coast 2011-Day 2 之 Beautiful Sunset

After getting every inch of my head filled with sand, we’re brought back to the “main land”.. And I swear that the sand stayed with me all the way.. By scratching my hair, I would get sand in my nails, touching my eyebrows, my nose, my ears, all would return me some sand.. No matter how much I have “taken out”, it seems like there is an endless stream of them.. I even suspected that I was able to produce them.. 😡

When we reached “main land”, we were greeted by a more magnificent sight – the sunset.. The sunset was totally out of the world.. It was a purplish sunset, it could be common, rare,i do not know but it was definitely the 1st that I have ever seen..

Gold Coast 2011-Day 2 之 Desert Safari

Tangalooma island is really filled with activities for us to do. Even though it looks small, there are actually many beautiful sceneries for us to see and enjoy.. After being out in the sea, we’re headed for a more dryer activity, which is the Desert Safari Tour.

The tour started off with us travelling in a 4WD car, and going through what seems like a jungle.. The roads definitely wasn’t smooth, it was more exciting this way..
