Gardens By The Bay

It has been almost a year since Gardens By The Bay was officially opened to the public. And it wasn’t until recently that I realized, it was more than just a huge park. It had several attractions and conservatories within the park. All along, I thought it was just a HUGE park where you should be prepared to get lost. Well, at least that was the impression it gave me when i first visited the park for the STAR concert in July.

Visited two of the conservatories, which were named “The Cloud” and “Flower Dome”. Both of these required a fee of SGD$20 to enter, but thankfully the didn’t forget about Singaporeans, they had a promotion for Singaporeans when I went, not sure if the promotion is a permanent arrangement or just for a special period.

Let’s get wet on the duck tour

After so many years, I went on-board the Singapore Duck Tours once again..

There is no better way to tour Singapore than catching a ride on the ORIGINAL DUCKtours! Embark on a land and sea adventure on a remodeled WWII amphibious Vietnamese war craft that promises you the best tour experience.

Traveling on both land and sea by using just one boat or car or whatever you think it should be called.. This time round, the view on board was much more magnificent, with the Marina Bay Sands and Singapore Flyer.. But, it was sad that it was super hazy on that day.. And I think it was also one of the sunniest and warmest day ever.. But still, it was fun..

Singapore Flyer

Went to the Singapore Flyer today..
wasnt many people as i had expected..
hmm, basically, the ride really didnt impressed me that much due to 2 reasons :
Reason 1: My fear of heights over took control of myself less than 5 mins after the capsule moved out of the “boarding area”.. and i was feeling not so good throughout the whole ride..could feel “butterflies in my stomach flying around”, my legs were losing strength.. wahahaz..
Reason 2 : Nothing much to see, what u see from the top is what u can see from the ground level, just thats u are looking at it from the top..
but its worth the experience..
however, for people who has the thought of riding the Singapore Flyer, i would recommend you wait till when the IR is almost ready coz it would defintely be nicer, all you can see now is just cranes and more cranes.. hahaz..
