Dropping a note.

Just a quick post letting people know that I’m still alive and kicking.. Hehe.. Trying my very best to keep this blog alive.. Just started this new job of mine.. My working hours has been keeping me away from my Baobei lappy foe the whole week.. Shall make full use of my precious Sunday, tomorrow..

Here is an evidence that i am trying very hard to keep this place alive by having 3 drafts in my lists, which has been there for like weeks or even months… Have been updating it regularly (like say a sentence per post), but it never seems to get completed.. Haha.. 😡

Rule the sky!!~

I first heard about this mobile game early this year but didn’t really gave it a second look since then.. It’s kinda a fun game to pass time, it is somewhat similar to the smurf mobile app game, where you get to build houses, grow crops, build your town, etc…

I’ve got no idea why I didn’t get hook onto this game when it was at its peak.. Now, there seems to be lesser people playing?? Because of that, I’m so lonely in this game.. I’very got no friends.. 😦 So… If there is anyone playing, please be a kind soul and be my friend.. Pretty please.. Hehe..

STAR Concert

Back from the awesome STAR concert, organised by the Straits Time. The best thing about this concert was it’s location – Gardens by the Bay, with Marina Bay Sands as the stage’s backdrop. Even though it was planned to last for 3 hours, it ended an hour later. Well, it was kinda expected as the performers (especially the foreign guest performers) got to perform at least 5-6 songs. p.s it isn’t a bad thing though, definitely well worth the ticket price. Hottest performers definitely had to be Boys Like Girls and 4 Minute. 😀

Hurts

Everyone loves surprises, especially girls…

I’m no exception…

I’m a human too.. I’m a girl too…

Having expectation is what keeps you going..

The only thing different about me from the rest is it always end up in major disappointment…

The more expectations I have, the more I end up feeling disappointed…

Looks like all the dreams, thoughts and ideas that I have will always stay in the imaginary world of mine.

My heart has died, it’s now just a walking zombie…

Till one fine day, something comes along to give my heart some life…

Off to find 十分幸福….

Decided to head out to Shi Fen on the second day. In order to get to Shi Fen, we had to take a train from Taipei Station to Rui Fang before transferring to another train which would bring us to Shi Fen and Pingxi. The train ride was kinda enjoyable, comfy seats, accompanied with beautiful sceneries along the way. However, there were certain timings for these 2 trains, therefore we have to take note of the time every now and then in order not to miss a train, else, we got to wait for at least 40mins for the next train.

Raohe St. Night Market

The place that you MUST visit when in Taiwan is the night markets.. You can get lots of 小吃s (especially my smelly tofu :D), and at some night markets, you can to do lots of shopping for clothes, accessories, bags, etc.

First night market for our trip was Raohe St. Night Market. It was a walkable distance from Wu Fen Pu (五分埔), where we spent hours shopping. Unfortunately for us, it was raining heavily on the first day of our trip, and we had to find our way around in the rain with an umbrella in hand.. The longer we walk, the heavier the rain got.. But… I guess it was kinda “a blessing in disguise”? Cos when we reached Raohe Night Market, it wasn’t crowded.. 😀 And since it was raining extremely heavy, we decided to buy the food back to the hotel and slowly enjoy it instead of eating it in the rain.. Well, with the exception of my smelly tofu… I wouldn’t want to stink the cab with it..

Off to Taipei 101

Speaking of our hotel choice, I guess I can say that our hotel was conveniently located near the heart of the shopping district – Ximending. With lots of yummy food choices around our hotel and with the train station just a 2 mins walk away.

Our first meal of our trip was Beef noodles just round the corner of our hotel. We heard that it was a rather famous stall with the locals around there, and it was one of the “original” stalls. The beef noodles are really awesome, the beef would melt away the moment you eat it. It’s very tender, and not as fatty as the ones we have in Singapore.
